Whole Foods Fundraiser for Steele Elementary
We are excited to announce that Steele Elementary “Seed to Table School Garden Program” will be the recipient of the 10 cent bag refund that is given to customers when they bring a reusable bag at the Cherry Creek Whole Foods Store. Our distribution period will begin mid-June and run through the end of September.  Please visit the store with your own bags and be sure to ask the associates to donate the Bag Refund to Steele School.
In addition to being the recipient of the Cherry Creek Bag Refund, Steele  students are invited to set-up a booth at the Farmer’s and Food Artisans Road Tour event on August 23rd. The event will run from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. We can bring some of the produce we grow at school to sell at the event and Whole Foods will provide a few cases of additional produce to sell. Last year we had over 30 vendors participate in the event- it will be wonderful exposure for Steele students. Whole Food chefs will be preparing a “local lunch” for purchase during the day; Steele Elementary “Seed to Table School Garden Program” will also receive all the proceeds from the lunch.
Thank you Whole Foods for your support of the Steele Seed To Table School Garden Program.
